MEANSWHILE was founded in 2014 by Naohiro Fujisaki, who won the Tokyo Fashion Award in 2020, with a clear idea: Clothing, as a part of our daily lives, serves as a tool. Tools enhance our activities, design should enhance the tools to perform better.
Rooted in utilitarian thinking, the brand draws from military, workwear, and technical outdoor gear, translating these influences into a modern, highly wearable wardrobe where every detail serves a purpose.
Material innovation is key, with fabrics like Polartec®, Cordura®, Dyneema®, and Solotex® chosen for performance, durability, and lightness.
