WELTER SHELTER was born out of necessity. In the middle of a November storm, a premium wool coat failed when it mattered most – leaving its owner cold, soaked, and with a clear realization: outerwear should perform, not just impress.

Founded in Amsterdam by Peter Landa in 2016 and within our collection since the very beginning, the brand turns this moment into a focused vision of modern, all-weather protection. WELTER SHELTER designs jackets for real urban conditions – where rain, wind, and movement are part of everyday life. 

Technical membranes, weatherproof constructions, and carefully selected fabrics ensure reliable performance, while clean, modern silhouettes keep a contemporary edge. A pragmatic, design-driven answer to modern weather – where protection, comfort, and style simply make sense.
